About Jay
Within the last few years, Jay Leonard Juatco has become one of Vancouver’s most in demand 
guitarists. His experience has found him performing and recording in a variety of musical idioms spanning Flamenco, Rock, Funk, Blues, Country, Hip Hop, Jazz, and most other forms of popular music.
As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, most of Jay’s music maturation has been through the clubs of Boston, New York, and Montreal. However, in the three years since returning to Vancouver, he has seen himself as the guitarist for one of China’s most celebrated pop stars (Sandy Lam), performer at the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival (Mexico), artist endorser for Liquid Metal Custom Guitars, session musician with clients including Kyocera, and gritty road warrior touring the world with a variety of different groups.
Alongside Juatco’s technical ability and creativity, he is also a charismatic stage performer. In the role of a natural and enigmatic front-man, solo performer, or as a supportive and engaging band member, his performances are as skilled and entertaining as they are energetic.
